Confidentiality is an important part of the therapeutic relationship, without which there could be no trust. However, there are a number of instances, ethically and legally where the therapist has an obligation to breach that confidentiality. These issue of confidentiality will be discussed at the first session where any concerns you may have can be addressed at that time. 

50 Minutes.

Normally 1 session per week. However, during crisis times or when the client feels they need it, a number of times per week can be agreed upon.

Number of Sessions: during the consultation session we discuss and agree on a proposed number of sessions.

Sessions are held once a week at the agreed time and date.

Depending on your needs, the standard number of sessions would be a block of 6 (including initial assessment), with a view to adding further sessions as required. I also provide for one off and emergency counselling sessions.

€60 for a 50-minute appointment. 

€70 for Couples/Relationship Counselling.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with 48 hours advance notice–  whereupon there will be no charge.

If the session is cancelled within 48 hours the cancellation fee is 50% of the agreed fee – as it will be too late to offer the appointment to another client.

Full fee will apply if session is cancelled on the day.

If I am not contacted regarding a cancellation the client will be charged for the full session.
